True Life Run a success, runners brave cold for a good cause.
Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 12:55PM Participants of the 2014 True Life Run took to the cold Columbia streets this morning to raise money for the True Life Fund and the film Private Violence. Runners had to take on challenges on course including ultimate hopscotch, Newspaper Labyrinth, Foam Noodle Freeze Tag, Catch the Rabbit and the Mayors Council obstacle course.
The winners were Ian Chillag in 18:47 and Sara Spoede in 20:28 unadjusted. Both got the secret password of "Billie Jean King" for a two minute time bonus to make their times 16:47 and 18:28 respectively. Both winners get Lux passes to next years festival!
